Keep your collection safe with .pop backups
⚠️ Your collection is stored locally in your browser.
It will be lost if you clear browser data, switch devices, or reinstall your browser.
Export backups regularly!
📤 Export (Backup)
1. Go to Collection page
2. Click Export
3. Save the .pop file
📥 Import (Restore)
1. Go to Collection page
2. Click Import
3. Select your .pop file
4. Choose merge or replace
Import Options
- Merge: Add new models, keep existing unchanged
- Replace: Clear current collection, restore from file
- Update & Merge: Add new + overwrite existing with file data
💡 Tip: Back up weekly, after adding multiple models, or before clearing browser data.
FAQ
What's a .pop file?
An encrypted backup of your collection data — which models you own, wishlist, notes, etc.
Can I edit .pop files?
No — they're encrypted. Make changes in PopRace, then export a new backup.
Can I share .pop files?
Yes! They only contain your collection data, not our database or images.
Work on other devices?
Yes — export on one device, import on another. Transfer the file and import it.
Troubleshooting
- "Invalid .pop file" — Make sure you're selecting a
.pop file
- "Decryption failed" — File may be corrupted or from a different site
- Export not working — You need at least one model in your collection
Remember: Regular backups = Safe collection! 🛡️
